Meredith Souto, LCSW

Meredith Souto, LMSW

Meredith is a graduate of the Columbia University School of Social Work, where she studied clinical social work with an emphasis on mental health.

As a clinician, Meredith has experience working with individuals who experience depression, anxiety, trauma, anger, and stress, and has engaged patients in exploring issues such as gender, sexuality, race, and acculturation. She utilizes a variety of therapeutic interventions such as cognitive behavioral therapy, EMDR, dialectical behavioral therapy, mindfulness techniques, and narrative therapy. Meredith offers services in both English and Spanish.

Meredith believes in the importance of narrative and story, and she is committed to creating safe, nonjudgmental spaces for her clients to tell their stories. She understands the importance of a strong therapeutic alliance and a strengths-based approach to empower her patients to change their lives and grow as individuals. Her person-in-environment perspective aims to respect each patient’s unique situation to assist individuals from all walks of life and at all stages of their wellness journey.

Leah Mansback, LMSW

Leah is a clinical social worker specializing in trauma, depression, anxiety, PTSD, attachment and postpartum depression. She uses mindfulness and a psychodynamic approach in her work with families and individuals, focusing on early attachment relationships.

Leah believes in building a calm and supportive environment with her clients to build a strong therapeutic alliance. She utilizes a strength-based approach where clients feel empowered to challenge themselves and create successful outcomes.

Leah has experience working with clients both English and Spanish speaking of all ages in schools, mental health clinics and hospitals. Before receiving her masters in social work from Silberman School of Social Work at Hunter College, she worked in media and as a preschool teacher.

Evi Robinson, LMSW

Evi Robinson, LMSW

Evi is a clinical social worker who is experienced in providing psychotherapy to people living with childhood trauma, depression, anxiety, PTSD, mood disorders, and interpersonal challenges. Evi utilizes eclectic and individualized therapeutic interventions including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Relational Therapy, and Psychodynamic Therapy.

Through her experience as a therapist, Evi has learned that asking thought-provoking questions in a trusting therapeutic environment empowers people to process past experiences and understand how that history impacts relationships and healthy decision-making. She believes everyone has the ability to conquer their fears and overcome hardships through a collaborative and positive therapeutic alliance.

Evi has had the opportunity to work with clients in a wide range of settings including outpatient mental health clinics, hospitals, foster care, schools, and Family Court. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Syracuse University and her Masters of Social Work from the Silberman School of Social Work at Hunter College.

Mo Swinson, LMSW

Mo received her Masters of Social Work from the Columbia School of Social Work; she also holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Washington University in St. Louis and is currently completing a Graduate Certificate in Trauma from The University of Tennessee at Knoxville.

She has experience working with children, young adults, and families across a variety of settings, including family support centers, schools, and those in shelter; she has supported clients living with various conditions, including depression, anxiety, PTSD, trauma, substance use disorder, and chronic health conditions, to address barriers in all areas of their lives that prevent them from thriving and reaching their goals. She particularly enjoys working with people with allergic conditions (eczema, asthma, food allergies).

Mo has completed training in motivational interviewing and cognitive behavioral therapy, and is a strengths-based and trauma-informed practitioner. She strives to create a warm and affirming space for clients to work towards their goals collaboratively.
